At Creative Kids of Lynbrook, we work towards enhancing each child’s performance level by identifying students learning capabilities and individualizing their curriculum.  All classroom activities are theme-based and tied to literature while using

Zoo-phonics and the Creative Curriculum.

• Toddler Class (Child must be 18 months by September 1st)

                      Our “Play and Learn” Philosophy teaches concepts such as:

                             - Sharing

                             - Cooperation

                             - Socialization

                             - Vocabulary and Clarity

                             - Alphabet utilizing the Zoo-phonics Movement Program

                             - Number Recognition

                             - Shapes and Color Recognition

 

• Nursery Class (Child must be 3 years old by December 1st)

                   Teaching and reinforcing skills such as:

                             - Alphabet, numbers, shapes and colors

                             - Language arts

                      Additional concepts introduced are:

                             - Size comparison, direction, sequencing and memorization skills

                             - Left from right

                             - Math counting skills

                             - Pre-reading and preliminary writing skills

                             - Calendar and weather

 

• Prekinder Class (Child must be 4 years old by December 1st)

                      Teaching and reinforcing skills such as:

                             - Alphabet, numbers, shapes and colors

                             - Language arts

                             - Size Comparison, direction, sequencing and memorization skills

                             - Calendar and weather

                      Additional concepts taught (but not limited to):

                             - Math readiness

                             - Reading readiness/sight words

                             - Handwriting

                             - Science and Discovery
